able you are to advocate
effectively for your loved one.

DisabilityGoTo can help you
one-on-one.
In Home Analysis
Learn how to be an effective, informed, knowledgeable and
active participant of your loved one's educational or program
    planning meetings.

It is as easy as making a peanut butter sandwich.

Call us, let us help you get all your records together and
organized.  Being organized is the first step to being an
effective informed knowledgeable.  Through our “in-home
analysis” services we review your records ahead of time,
provide you one hour of consultation to help plan a course of
action to obtain services and supports you desire and teach
you at the same time how to effective advocate in pursuing
    these services.

The initial “in-home analysis” services are available through
organizational sponsorship.  If monies are available, there
will be no charge to families.

Some of our additional services provided for a fee include:

  • Document organization
  • Preparation for mediation/due process
  • Letter writing (setting up standardized letters)
  • IEP advocacy, attendance at IEP meetings
  • Specific Issue Advocacy
  • Lay Advocacy
  • Individualized training to understand your rights
  • Case Management
  • Applying for Services, such as SSI
It is our goal to ultimately arm you with the skills and
know how to effectively advocate for your own loved one
with minimal or no supports.  Your time as caregivers
should be spent loving, caring and spending time with
your family, not stressing over program issues.

Need help organizing your records?
One of the challenging things individuals with disabilities face and
families is how to apply for services and ensure you are doing as
much as possible in the initial process to avoid having to appeal
decisions.  The application is the easy part, it is trying to pick up
the pieces once you have been denied to fight for what you know
your loved one needs.

Did you know more than 75% of applications for Social Security
Benefits are denied due to inadequate documentation and
information during the application process?
